Tax Operations Business Analyst

Job Description

Develop detailed functional requirement documents capturing business logic and tax rules. Perform data analysis and pattern recognition on upstream transaction data. Collaborate with tax advisory teams to correctly classify financial transactions. Work with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements. Support testing activities including validation of business logic and outcomes. Proven experience in data analysis and transaction processing within financial systems Ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and relationships in complex datasets, and define data mapping logic Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience working with cross-functional teams (Business, Tax Advisory, Engineering) Exposure to testing frameworks , UAT, and regression testing methodologies Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
