Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Job Description

Understand construction material workflows including buying, storing, issuing, inspection, rejection, wastage & tracking. Map real-world processes into ERP workflows such as: Material Requisition (MR) Purchase Orders (PO) Goods Receipt Note (GRN) Store Issues, Returns & Inspections Ensure ERP supports multiple stores (sites & warehouses), item categories, item groups, rack/bin locations & item hierarchies. Define process controls including approvals, rejections, role-based access, alerts & approval timelines. Help manage vendor master data, transport rates & material usage tracking against projects/work orders. Measure and report inventory metrics such as stock levels, wastage, item-wise reports, PO & GRN reports. Train store staff, site engineers, procurement & accounts teams on ERP inventory processes. Collaborate with ERP teams to test features, suggest improvements & align software with field realities.
