Salesforce QA Engineer (CPQ & API Specialist] Experience Level: Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce QA Engineer with specialized expertise in Salesforce, CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and API Testing. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the end-to-end integrity of our salesforce ecosystem including quote-to-cash process and validating complex integrations within the salesforce, & between Salesforce and external systems. You will work closely with Developers and Business Analysts to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesCPQ Validation: Test complex product bundles, Price Rules, Discount Schedules, and Quote Document (PDF) accuracy.End-to-End Testing: Validate the full lifecycle from Lead/Opportunity to Contracting and Renewals.Platform & Security: Test Flows, Approval Processes, and persona-based security (Profiles/Permission Sets).API & Integration: Verify REST/SOAP endpoints and data mapping between Salesforce and external ERP/Billing systems using Postman.Defect Management: Manage the QA lifecycle (Test Plans, Regression, UAT) via Jira/Buganizer. Technical QualificationsSalesforce Core: Deep understanding of Salesforce objects (Account, Opportunity, Quote, etc.), Validation Rules, Flows, and Security Models (Profiles/Permission Sets).CPQ Expertise: Hands-on experience testing Salesforce CPQ. Familiarity with the CPQ Object Model is essential.API Skills: Proficiency in testing REST/SOAP APIs and understanding JSON/XML structures.Database: Ability to write SOQL queries to validate data integrity within Salesforce.Tools: Experience with Postman Soft Skills & EducationAnalytical Thinking: Ability to translate complex business pricing models into technical test scenarios.Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.Certifications (Preferred):Salesforce Certified Associate or Administrator.Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist (highly preferred).ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
