About the Role IBM Consulting is looking for an experienced Senior Specialist – Package Implementation (SAP ABAP – EWM Technical) to join its SAP Practice in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for SAP technical professionals who have extensive experience developing enterprise-grade SAP EWM solutions on SAP S/4HANA using modern ABAP technologies. As an SAP ABAP EWM Technical Consultant, you will work on large-scale implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects for global customers. You will collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, integration specialists, and business stakeholders to develop scalable SAP Warehouse Management solutions that improve warehouse operations and supply chain efficiency. The successful candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), HANA ABAP development, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, and SAP integration technologies while following SAP development standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP applications for SAP EWM and Materials Management (MM) solutions. Build and optimize CDS Views, AMDP procedures, RAP applications, ALV Reports, and custom ABAP developments for SAP S/4HANA. Develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflow (RICEFW) objects to support warehouse and logistics processes. Develop and enhance BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework objects, IDOCs, and custom interfaces. Build and consume REST and SOAP APIs for SAP and third-party system integrations. Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Optimize existing SAP applications for SAP HANA performance, database efficiency, and application scalability. Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, UAT, deployment, and hypercare support. Prepare technical specifications, development documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer documents. Provide production support by analyzing incidents, resolving technical issues, and implementing continuous improvements. Work closely with global delivery teams and support European time-zone projects, including onsite travel when required. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 6–11 years of SAP ABAP development experience. Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM Technical development. Experience with SAP S/4HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, and HANA-optimized ABAP programming. Good understanding of SAP MM and warehouse management business processes. Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, or support projects. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in Agile project environments with global teams.
