Job Description

Prepare and review the U.S. GAAP income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, including current and deferred tax calculations, effective tax rate analysis, and supporting schedules. Translate complex tax accounting results into clear, concise “storytelling” for finance leadership and other non‑tax stakeholders, explaining key drivers, risks, and period‑over‑period changes in a practical, decision‑useful manner Partner with Tax Legal on Uncertain Tax Positions, supporting accounting, ASC 740 analysis, roll forward preparation, tracking, and financial statement disclosure. Maintain uncertain tax positions schedules and roll-forwards, connecting technical analyses to accounting decisions and financial impacts. Support quarterly and annual financial close processes, including tax-related disclosures for SEC filings (e.g., 10‑Q, 10‑K). Partner closely with Tax Compliance, Legal, FP&A, and Controllers to ensure accurate reflection of tax positions in the financial statements. Support internal and external audit inquiries and maintain SOX‑compliant controls related to income tax accounting. Interpret and apply complex tax accounting guidance, providing technical recommendations on ASC 740 matters and emerging issues. Contribute to continuous improvement of tax accounting processes, controls, and documentation, including standardization and automation initiatives. Mentor and train junior analysts, providing technical guidance on ASC 740, tax provision processes, and documentation standards, and contributing to team development and knowledge sharing
