Key Responsibilities Configuration and Implementation: Design, configure, and implement the SAP MM module to meet business requirements. User Support and Training: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they understand how to effectively use the system. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of the SAP MM module with other SAP modules and business processes. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including system manuals, user guides, and troubleshooting guides. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues within the SAP MM system, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime. Continuous Improvement: Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity in material management. Qualifications Education: A bachelors degree in business, supply chain management, information technology, or a related field is typically required. A masters degree may be preferred by some employers. SAP MM Certification: Certification from SAP AG in the MM module is often required, demonstrating proficiency in the system. Experience: Several years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain management is usually necessary. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of SAP MM software, including configuration and customization capabilities. Knowledge of other SAP modules (e.g., SD, FI) is beneficial. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and processes, identify problems, and propose effective solutions. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
