SAP MM Consultant

About the Role NTT DATA Services is looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant to join its team in Hyderabad. The role is focused on SAP Materials Management implementation and support activities within enterprise SAP environments. The selected candidate will work on core SAP MM procurement and inventory processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, support business users, and contribute to stable and efficient SAP MM operations. Key Responsibilities • Implement and support SAP MM solutions based on business requirements. • Work on procurement and purchasing processes within SAP MM. • Support Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, and Receiving Inspection. • Work on stores and inventory management processes. • Support material and item master data management. • Manage and support vendor master-related processes. • Work on supplier rating and procurement-related activities. • Analyze business requirements and provide appropriate SAP MM solutions. • Troubleshoot SAP MM functional issues and provide timely resolutions. • Support implementation, enhancement, and production support activities. • Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams and business stakeholders. • Work according to project SLAs and operational requirements. • Support multiple clients and business processes where required. • Participate in testing, issue resolution, and deployment activities. • Maintain relevant functional documentation and process information. • Work in different project shifts based on business and client requirements. Required Qualifications • 7+ years of relevant SAP MM experience. • Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM implementation and support. • Good knowledge of purchasing and procurement processes. • Experience with Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders. • Experience with Goods Receipt and receiving processes. • Knowledge of inventory and stores management. • Experience with material/item master and vendor master processes. • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Good communication and stakeholder-management skills. • Flexibility to work in different shifts based on project requirements.
