SAP Finance Functional Analyst

Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical teams in multiple locations and time zones. The role requires support of complex enterprise solutions in a highly customized landscape and holds responsibility of the aspects including : Status monitoring and reporting within the team and senior management Identify, diagnose, and resolve software problems reported by users or monitoring tools, analyse error logs, tickets, and system behaviour Collaborate with stakeholders from Business and application teams (internal and external) Monitor incident queues, prioritise issues based on severity and business impact Provide clear and timely communication on issue status and resolution, create knowledge base articles, FAQs, and quick guides Monitor application availability, performance, and integrations Perform RCA, Post Mortem Analysis, Identify long-term fixes Ensure data handling follows company & regulatory guidelines Status monitoring and reporting within the team and senior management Proven expertise in some or all core S4 finance modules like GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, etc Conversant in building integrated solutions using different technologies/ framework Exposure working as System Architect/ Lead role on medium to large-sized SAP projects involving multiple systems integration and automation Problem solver backed up with strong quantitative and diligent skills Good communication and interpersonal skills. Exposure to DevSecOps methodologies, Cloud Application development (SAP Cloud Platform / BTP or Others) etc. Exposure to automation and optimization of finance processes and analytics, demonstrating AI/ ML/ GenAI based solutions
