About the Role Anikson Solutions is looking for a skilled SAP Basis Consultant to join its SAP infrastructure team for a 6–12 month contract in Hyderabad. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration and SAP HANA database management who are passionate about ensuring high system availability, performance, and security. As an SAP Basis Consultant, you will be responsible for the installation, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of SAP landscapes. You will work closely with SAP functional consultants, ABAP developers, infrastructure teams, and database administrators to support enterprise SAP environments while ensuring system stability and business continuity. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and administer SAP systems and SAP HANA databases across development, quality assurance, and production environments. Perform SAP HANA database installations, revision upgrades, patches, and ongoing database administration activities. Manage SAP transport requests (TR), Change Requests (CR), and ensure smooth transport movement across system landscapes. Create, maintain, and manage SAP users, roles, authorizations, and database privileges in accordance with organizational security policies. Monitor system performance, background jobs, work processes, update processes, and spool management to ensure optimal system health. Perform regular SAP HANA database backup, recovery, restore, and disaster recovery procedures. Configure and maintain High Availability (HA), HANA System Replication (HSR), and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments. Monitor SAP system logs, database alerts, memory utilization, and system performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Collaborate with SAP Functional, ABAP, Security, and Infrastructure teams during implementations, upgrades, and production support activities. Perform kernel upgrades, support package implementations, and system refreshes following SAP best practices. Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer documents for ongoing support activities. Participate in production support, incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring SLA compliance. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. 3–4 years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience. Strong experience in SAP HANA Database Installation and Revision Upgrades. Good understanding of SAP HANA Administration and database maintenance activities. Experience in handling Change Requests (CR) and Transport Requests (TR). Hands-on experience with SAP User Administration, Role Management, and Authorization concepts. Experience monitoring SAP background jobs, system performance, and work processes. Practical knowledge of SAP backup, restore, recovery, High Availability (HA), HANA System Replication (HSR), and Disaster Recovery (DR). Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production support environment.
