SAP ABAP HANA Developer

About the Role Accenture is looking for experienced SAP ABAP HANA Developers with 4–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and SAP HANA/S/4HANA technologies. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP technical solutions using ABAP on HANA. The role involves working with modern SAP development technologies including CDS Views, AMDP, OData, BAPIs, BAdIs, and enhancements. Key Responsibilities • Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP applications based on business requirements. • Work on ABAP development in SAP HANA and S/4HANA environments. • Design and develop optimized technical solutions using ABAP on HANA. • Develop and maintain CDS Views and AMDP procedures. • Develop and support OData services for SAP applications and integrations. • Work with BAPIs, BAdIs, and SAP enhancement techniques. • Perform debugging and root-cause analysis of complex technical issues. • Analyze ABAP programs and optimize code for improved performance. • Participate in technical requirement analysis and solution design. • Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders. • Support testing, defect resolution, deployment, and production support activities. • Develop scalable and maintainable SAP technical solutions. • Follow SAP development standards and best practices. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation. • Contribute to continuous improvement of SAP applications and development processes. Required Qualifications • 4–10 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience. • Strong experience in SAP ABAP programming. • Hands-on experience with SAP HANA and/or S/4HANA. • Good knowledge of ABAP on HANA. • Experience with CDS Views and AMDP. • Experience with OData services. • Hands-on experience with BAPIs, BAdIs, and SAP enhancements. • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. • Good experience with ABAP performance tuning and optimization. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Good communication and collaboration skills.
