SAP ABAP Developer Manufacturing Domain (2 Years Experience)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities Develop and support ABAP programs for manufacturing process. Work on RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) Design and develop ALV Reports for inventory, production, and procurement tracking Smart Forms / SAP Scripts for invoices, delivery notes, and production documents Module pools Build and support interfaces with external systems Work on IDoc, BAPI, and RFC integrations for data exchange between SAP and plant systems. Implement enhancements using User Exits BADIs Enhancement Framework Develop and maintain custom tables, views, and data elements in Data Dictionary. Debug and resolve production issues related to SAP programs in plant operations. Optimize performance of reports handling large production and inventory data. Collaborate with functional teams to understand plant-level requirements. Support UAT, deployments, and post-go-live stabilization. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in ABAP development Experience in ALV Reports (especially for operational data) Module Pools Knowledge of OO ABAP Smart Forms / SAP Scripts Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs) Data Dictionary Basic experience with IDoc / BAPI / RFC Understanding of manufacturing processes: Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Qualifications Bachelors degree in engineering / computer science / IT Soft Skills Strong analytical and debugging skills Good understanding of manufacturing processes Ability to work with cross-functional teams Quick learner and adaptable to new technologies Problem-solving mindset Ability to handle production support under pressure Good communication and documentation abilities
