About the Role Mak Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with 8+ years of strong hands-on experience in SAP development, customization, enhancements, integrations, and production support. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining SAP ABAP programs and custom applications. The role requires close collaboration with SAP functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable technical solutions across multiple SAP modules. This is a remote contract opportunity supporting a US client. The candidate should be comfortable working with the required US client support schedule, with working time extending up to 2:00 PM EST. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain SAP ABAP programs and custom applications. • Develop technical solutions based on business and functional requirements. • Work on SAP customization, enhancements, and custom development activities. • Develop and support integration solutions using IDocs, RFC, BAPI, ALE, Web Services, OData, and APIs. • Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to understand requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions. • Work closely with business stakeholders during requirement analysis, development, testing, and implementation. • Develop reusable and scalable ABAP components across SAP applications. • Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution. • Support integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution. • Analyze existing custom programs and recommend technical improvements and optimization. • Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for SAP applications. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams across SAP modules including EWM, MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, QM, and WM. • Prepare technical specifications and relevant development documentation. • Ensure development follows SAP coding standards and technical best practices. • Participate in implementation, enhancement, and support projects as required. Required Qualifications • 8+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience. • Strong experience in SAP ABAP programming and custom development. • Experience with SAP enhancements and customization. • Strong knowledge of SAP integration technologies. • Hands-on experience with IDocs, RFC, BAPI, ALE, Web Services, OData, and APIs. • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. • Experience working with SAP functional teams and business stakeholders. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment. • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Willingness to support US client working hours as required.
