SAP ABAP Developer – Immediate Opportunity

About the Role Covenant Global Technologies is looking for skilled SAP ABAP Developers to join its growing technology team. The role is suitable for professionals with 3–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, Object-Oriented ABAP, SAP HANA, AMDP, and SAP BW/4HANA. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting SAP technical solutions aligned with business and functional requirements. The role involves working across custom ABAP development, enhancements, interfaces, reports, debugging, performance optimization, and HANA-based development. Key Responsibilities • Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP applications based on business and technical requirements. • Design and develop custom ABAP reports, interfaces, enhancements, workflows, and backend programs. • Work extensively with Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP) programming. • Develop and support SAP ABAP solutions across enterprise SAP environments. • Implement and troubleshoot enhancements including BAdIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework components. • Perform technical debugging, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution. • Develop and optimize solutions using SAP HANA and AMDP. • Work on SAP BW/4HANA development and technical support activities. • Analyze existing ABAP programs and identify opportunities for performance optimization. • Apply ABAP performance tuning and code optimization techniques. • Translate technical requirements into scalable and maintainable SAP solutions. • Collaborate with functional consultants and business teams to understand requirements and resolve technical issues. • Support unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and production support activities. • Prepare technical documentation for developed solutions and enhancements. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across SAP development and support processes. Required Qualifications • 3–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. • Strong experience in SAP ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP. • Hands-on experience with ABAP reports, interfaces, enhancements, and debugging. • Experience with SAP HANA development and AMDP. • Exposure to SAP BW/4HANA development. • Strong understanding of SAP enhancement techniques including BAdIs and User Exits. • Good troubleshooting and analytical skills. • Ability to understand technical requirements and develop scalable SAP solutions. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Experience working with enterprise SAP implementation and/or support projects.
