About the Role LTIMindtree is looking for skilled SAP ABAP Consultants to join its Enterprise SAP practice as part of its scheduled hiring drive in Hyderabad. This opportunity is ideal for SAP professionals with strong technical expertise in ABAP development and experience delivering enterprise SAP solutions across implementation, enhancement, migration, and application support projects. As an SAP ABAP Consultant, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining SAP applications across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. You will collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, project managers, and business users to deliver high-quality technical solutions that align with business requirements and SAP development standards. The role involves working on modern SAP technologies, performance optimization, integrations, and custom developments while supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP applications for enterprise business processes. Develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflow (RICEF) objects. Build custom developments using ABAP Objects, Function Modules, Classes, Methods, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework. Develop ALV Reports, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts, and custom interfaces. Build and maintain integrations using BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, OData Services, and SAP Gateway. Optimize ABAP programs for SAP HANA performance and database efficiency. Prepare Technical Design Documents (TDD), Functional Specifications, Unit Test documents, and deployment guides. Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants across MM, SD, FICO, PP, WM, and other SAP modules. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, UAT, cutover, deployment, and hypercare support. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term technical improvements. Ensure developments comply with SAP coding standards, security policies, and project quality guidelines. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 3–8 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience. Experience working on SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA implementation or support projects. Strong knowledge of Core ABAP, Object-Oriented ABAP, debugging, and performance tuning. Experience with integrations using BAPI, RFC, IDoc, and OData Services. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in Agile and enterprise project environments. Preferred Skills SAP S/4HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, SAP Fiori, OData Services, SAP Gateway, ABAP Objects, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, Performance Optimization, SAP Workflow, Enhancements, BAPI, BADI, IDocs, RFC, SAP Certification.
