About the Role Aplusa Technologies Private Limited is looking for a skilled and motivated SAP ABAP Consultant with 2–5 years of hands-on experience to join its SAP technology team in Hyderabad. The role involves designing, developing, enhancing, testing, and supporting SAP technical solutions based on business requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core ABAP, Object-Oriented ABAP, ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, OData, and SAP integration technologies. The selected candidate will work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements, prepare technical solutions, develop custom applications, troubleshoot issues, and support UAT and production activities. Key Responsibilities • Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications. • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain custom SAP ABAP applications. • Develop ABAP Reports, ALV Reports, BDC programs, BAPIs, RFCs, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms. • Work with Classical ALV and Object-Oriented ALV development. • Develop and maintain enhancements using User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Framework. • Develop solutions using Object-Oriented ABAP and modern ABAP programming techniques. • Work with CDS Views, AMDP, and ABAP on HANA for optimized SAP applications. • Develop and support interfaces using IDocs, Web Services, APIs, OData, and Proxy Interfaces. • Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. • Participate in UAT, defect resolution, deployment, and production support activities. • Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and business stakeholders to resolve technical issues. • Work with teams across SAP functional areas such as MM, SD, FI, and other relevant modules. • Prepare and maintain technical specifications and development documentation. • Follow SAP development standards, coding guidelines, and performance best practices. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. • 2–5 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience. • Strong knowledge of Core ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP. • Good experience with ABAP Reports, ALV, BDC, BAPI, and RFC. • Hands-on experience with Smart Forms and Adobe Forms. • Strong understanding of Enhancements, User Exits, Customer Exits, and BAdIs. • Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, and ABAP on HANA. • Experience with OData, IDocs, Web Services, APIs, and Proxy Interfaces. • Good debugging and troubleshooting skills. • Knowledge of ABAP 7.4+ syntax and modern ABAP development practices. • Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions. • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Basic understanding of SAP functional modules such as MM, SD, FI, or related areas.
