Job Description
About the Role: Nubeno Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive Purchase Executive to join its Procurement team at the MIHAN manufacturing facility in Nagpur. The ideal candidate should have experience in procurement activities within a manufacturing environment and possess basic working knowledge of SAP for purchase order processing and inventory-related transactions. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing procurement operations, coordinating with suppliers, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring timely availability of raw materials required for uninterrupted production. Key Responsibilities: Handle day-to-day procurement activities for raw materials, polymers, consumables, packaging materials, and engineering items. Create, process, and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) using SAP. Coordinate with vendors for quotations, price negotiations, order placement, and timely deliveries. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure uninterrupted supply. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Stores and Production teams for material planning. Follow up with suppliers regarding pending orders, dispatch schedules, and delivery commitments. Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and service levels. Maintain purchase records, documentation, and procurement reports accurately. Coordinate with the Finance team for invoice verification and payment processing. Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and procurement optimization. Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production downtime. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in any discipline. 2–3 years of experience in Procurement or Purchase, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Basic working knowledge of SAP ERP. Strong communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of polymers (PP, PE, PVC) and packaging materials will be an added advantage.
