Finance Consultant

Job Description

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, related field or Professional certifications such as Chartered Accountant (ACA), Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) in financial software implementation and delivery, ideally with systems such as SAP, Oracle Financials, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar. Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting processes, and industry-specific requirements. Prince 2 Project management experience is desirable, particularly in software delivery or finance transformation projects. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software systems, including configuration, integration, and customization. Experience with ERP systems, accounting software, and financial data structures. Familiarity with SQL, APIs, and other tools for data migration and integration. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Key Competencies: Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to challenge process and consult on industry good practice Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Ability to manage conflicting priorities and adapt to changing project requirements. Additional Requirements: Willingness to travel to client sites as needed. (20%) Availability for occasional after-hours support and project work.
